[That was] the very first question, "Where do you go to church?" It made me uncomfortable because in Canada, it's not really done because it's supposed to be something that's private and personal. I felt a little uncomfortable.

As Southerners, I think that may be one of those cultural clashes where people's social world is tied up within the church. So it's actually, in their mind, a nice gesture to say... "Have you found a church home yet?" but that could be very off-putting and pressure filled to people.
