From many backgrounds, Muslim women come together

... and it was during Ramadan, so all these women are there and we're sitting and gabbing, we're at the table and we're all sitting together, and this woman, this woman who has been watching came over and she said, "I just had to ask, who are you people?" She said, "I have never seen so many different people sitting together." And you look around the table and it was — you know, we don't even notice it. I feel like we are so blessed because there's literally people from Mexico, from Malaysia, from Indonesia, from Africa, the different countries in Africa, which all have their own different flavor. African American, American, you know, Caucasian American, Arab, all the different Arab countries that have all the different looks that comes with that.
